anyone ever gone to las Vegas while pregnant?

My brother turns 21 at the end of august and my husband and I really want to take him to Vegas. By then I will be 27-28 weeks pregnant. Do you think a Vegas trip will be too much? Obviously I can't drink but I would really like to take part in my brother's trip. Anyone else ever gone to vegas while pregnant? If so, how was it?

I went to Vegas with a friend and she was pregnant and even though she couldn't drink she loved it. She had so much fun. She wasn't a big drinker anyways.

I went when I was about 8 weeks. Everything smelled like cigarettes, everyone smelled like booze, and I freaked out every time someone bumped into me.

However, somehow I managed to have a really good time.

I had an amazing time in Vegas last week (I'm 18 weeks). My advice is stay in the newer hotels the air ventilation is much better and as much as it sucks try to stay away from the "club" scene. My Sis has a kid so we mainly stuck to kid friendly things and I had a blast. I do remember thinking about how weird it was to start planning my day around someone else but I guess I better get used to it!

I went to Vegas when I was 3 months pregnant. I had fun and love it there. The only problem is the smell in the casinos. The smell of cigarettes is so strong. Oh! And I couldn't drink. LOL.

Better ask your dr about how safe it is to travel then! 28-ish weeks is the cut off for a lot of women.

Oops my bad. I mean we are going in may. I'm due in August. Can you tell I have baby on the brain?

I know my brother and husband want to go to a strip club but other than that we are thinking of sticking to touristy spots and shopping. I'm sure they will be drinking a lot but they aren't really club types.

I've never been...my work does big meetings for the entire company in Vegas every other year. All store managers go, I finally have the chance to go this year but can't. The meeting is in July and I'm due in July. I think it would be fun but have to wait until next time. :0(

I went to Vegas when I was 28wks and had a blast! I did go to bed much earlier than everyone else though :) plus, my baby would kick and flip and go nuts with all the slot machine noise! :)

Was just there last month. If you gamble do it during the day when it's not so busy, less smoke. Harrah's has a smoke free section. Also there are plenty of things you can do pregnant. Shop, buffets especially the Wynn buffet, Hover dam, lake Mead. Definitely still worth going.

I have never been, but we have a trip planned for the first week in July and I'm due in September. My sister-in-law is getting married. My doctor said it was fine for me to travel then. I have a feeling I'm going to be hot and yucky, but I think we will still have a great time!

I was there when I was 9 weeks pregnant. Be sure to drink a lot of water and bring good lotion. It's the desert, which means a really dry climate. I started to get headaches from dehydration. The cigarette smoke really bothered me too. Just move from one casino machine to another if someone is smoking next to you. If you deal with US insurance in-network / out-of-network stuff then this will make sense. Consider checking out which hospitals are in-network around the area in case you have to go to the ER for pain, spotting, etc.

I went at 25 weeks and had an awesome time!! Hit top notch restaurants, spas and shows. Don't venture yourself walking on the strip, this is too tiring. We would just take cabs for everything.

Have a good time!!!
