Saw this in anther forum and it looked pretty fun. What you do is you say something true about yourself but use it as " the mommy below me " the next person will answer either true, false or don't know...then they'll start with "the mommy below me...with something true about themselves etc...I'll start
My husband works for a huge power company he is an electrical lineman so my son is going to be his daddy! His uniform is jeans a denim long sleeve shirt and usually a hard hat. I ordered Brady a little denim shirt and I'm having the logo put on it with his name. Haha
I've been out of town on a business trip all week and I miss my baby boy like crazy!! I get to go home tomorrow, but it's a 6 hour drive and I don't start the journey until 4pm! Ugh.... I don't care if he is sleeping when I get home I'm waking him up!!! Plus Friday is my 27th birthday and I need an early gift of baby hugs and slobbery kisses!
when do you all plan on switching out the infant car seat to a bigger one? my daughter is almost 7 months and her legs are right at the edge. Also for those who have made the switch did you buy one for each car or one and just have to switch out. I've been pricing them and they are kind of pricey and I am assuming I'll need one for my car and one for my husbands since I take her to daycare and my husband picks up? thanks!
I just actually researched this and I found that it doesn't matter if their feet are starting to stick out or 'overlap' babies need to stay in their read facing car seat until at LEAST 1 year of age. Ideally they would like them<br />to stay even longer. Never before the 30lb mark. If a accident were to occur the babies neck is not strong enough yet to support the trauma and can break, causing paralysis or death. My baby boy weighs 20lbs and I have no intentions of changing car seats yet. Use your best judgement but also be cautious!!
Hey guys! I'm 8 weeks pregnant and its 11:30pm and I have an elevated temp of 100.5. I had some diarrhea earlier as well. I have 2 options- go to the ER now, or call my doc in the morning. I have no clue. I'm worried the fever may be bad for the baby, especially since fever in the first trimester can cause birth defects. But I don't wanna go to the ER and look like an idiot.. I called labor and delivery, and all they said was "if you feel crappy, go to the ER. But if not, call your doc in the morning for a same-day appointment." They were no help. Any suggestions?
not scared to be a mommy but im kinda scared of giving birth and everything. im ftm and and only 12 weeks away and scared of going pre term or something going wrong or having to be induced or get a c section....just scared. also because my hubby wont be here :{ any one else scared or have any advice?
You are all going to be fine. You'll be amazed at how well you handle it and this may sound crazy to you now, but try to enjoy it and take it all in. I'm a FTM and my son will be 7 months on the 23rd. Once they escape your belly they will grow like a damn weed! Congrats girls :)
Ok so I'm 39 weeks n just got my membranes swept. When they checked I was only 1.5 cm dialated but said my cervix was very soft, what's the chance of this sweep working
