Anyone have any adverse feelings about this swing? MIL bought it for us and it looks great and went together really well, but I've read many mixed reviews about the quality.
Thanks.

The quality is good but my 4 week old doesn't care for the swing. She likes the bouncer much more.

I have read some bad reviews on them too but the people I know that have used them love them so I went ahead and bought it despite the online reviews

I love mine!! People complained about the motor burning out, but if you push the swing once you turn it on you'll never have a problem. My 9 month old still uses it everyday.

My LO is 5 mths now and she has been using this swing pretty much every day (mainly for her afternoon nap) since she was 2 weeks old. She loves it and I wouldn't recommend any other swing. It's a little pricey but well worth it :) really great quality!

I didn't have this exact swing but one made by fisher price. Keep your box!!! Bc if it does burn out then you can take it back and get a new one!! Also if it does burn out more then once don't tell them how many you've taken back!! Say its the first time lol most stores won't take them once you've hit three!! The first swing I had from them is still going 3 years latter, the one I got for my youngest kept burning out. Thank god I kept the box!!

I actually bought on used for 20$ and love it after cleaning it up. Now I actually went to buy the tray for it and ended up with the tray and motor. I have heard the motors go in these. Waiting for baby to get here to try it out. Also heard the heavier the baby the worst it sounds but guess I have two motors if one goes lol.

My sil gave us there's for out little one whose due in a couple of weeks but the motor was burned out. The catch was if we could fix it we could have it so I called fisher price and after about a 5-10 min phone call they said they'd send us a new motor for free and a couple of days later it was at my front door. They sent the whole top piece. With the birds and buttons. So we didn't have to deal with taking a small motor out and replacing it. We just hooked the new one up and tossed the broken one. Super easy! I guess if it's not too old they replace it for free cause it's not supposed to break.

I had one for my last son and it worked well. It was sturdy, and it always seemed to put him sound asleep after I breastfed him or needed to do quick chores around the house

I got mine at a garage sale for $45. My baby has never liked it. She'll sit in it for 10 minutes tops.

She prefers the swing my mom got for $10 at a garage sale that has bright colored fish and stuff on it. She'll sit in that forever and laugh and smile the whole time.

Motors burn out when you put baby in the swing and turn it on and walk away. Just give the swing a push:)
